Built in the real world
Twenty years in management with a growing building-products distributor taught Jay operations, people, customers, and the consequences of a decision.
About Jay
Jay brings more than 30 years of business experience across manufacturing, distribution, sales, leadership, and coaching. That experience shapes a direct, thoughtful, and very human way of working.

Real business background
Jay has lived with consequential decisions, difficult conversations, growth pressure, and the responsibility of leading people through change.
Twenty years in management with a growing building-products distributor taught Jay operations, people, customers, and the consequences of a decision.
In 1999, Jay moved to Florida to close a failing acquired operation. It was difficult work with lasting lessons about clarity and responsibility.
Six years in regional sales and leadership roles with Johns Manville strengthened his perspective on teams, growth, and follow-through.
Jay left corporate life to help business owners improve performance, reach meaningful goals, and build stronger businesses on their own terms.
What that experience means for you
Look beyond the loudest symptom and understand how the owner, team, priorities, and numbers affect one another.
Separate the issue that matters from the noise around it, then make the next decision with clear eyes.
Turn clarity into a practical plan and keep the work moving when day-to-day pressure returns.
Meet Jay
Jay listens carefully, asks good questions, and knows when to challenge and when to simply listen. You know where you stand and usually leave thinking differently.
“Jay listened intently, asked probing questions, and was able to understand our business challenges and goals and provide us with solutions that were impactful and actionable.”

In the community
Jay brings the same preparation, candor, and care to the rooms he serves beyond his client work.
Bring it into the room
The first conversation is about understanding what is happening and what better could look like.
